Mr Syed Ahmad Shah Sadaat holds a master degree from Oxford Brookes University in Mobile and wireless communications. Mr Sadaat holds both British and Afghan citizenship and belongs to the Sadaat tribe of Kunar province, Afghanistan. Having worked for 23 years and on 3 continents in the telecommunications and IT sector, Mr Sadaat served from 2016 to 2018 in the Afghan government, first as deputy minister and later as minister of telecommunications and IT. In December 2020, he emigrated to Germany to seek employment in the IT and communications sector. Due to his lack of German language skills, he currently works as a bicycle courier for the food delivery service Lieferando in Leipzig.
