Marcela Ahumada has a degree in administration and ample experience in public entities, mainly as a cabinet advisor.  She has worked in the Presidency of the Republic in the Ricardo Lagos and Michelle Bachelet administrations.

Marcela has been a board member of several foundations linked to education and culture, and has worked in various non-governmental civil society organisations. Prior to joining the Salvador Allende Foundation, she worked as a manager in arts projects linked to science and innovation.
