A stakeholder exchange in the context of the UN Women Generation Equality Forum Paris
 

PES Women, FEPS, Jean-Jaurès Foundation, Parti Socialiste France, Global Progressive Forum and UN Women Germany are joining forces ahead of the UN Women Generation Equality Forum to organise an online world café on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We want to gather actors and feminist grass-root voices from all over the world to bolster progressive and feminist leadership in advancing women’s SRHR in the global south and global north alike. Today more than ever, it is crucial that progressive voices stand in solidarity not to let anti-democratic and ultra-conservative movements stand in the way of women’s rights.

This stakeholder event will draw on engaging and innovative methods seeking to give a platform to a diverse spectrum of women and allies of different ages and nationalities uniting their voices in the name of their health and rights. Participants will be invited to share their perspective on three interconnected themes: “the private is political”, “SRHR on the global agenda”, and “youth, consent and sexuality”.
