EU feminist external agenda

Acknowledging the lack of rights, little representation and few resources women benefit from worldwide, we are working for gender equality to become a goal of the EU external action in itself, and should be mainstreamed in foreign, security, development, trade and human rights policies. Through a cycle of activities and articles, we intend to build bridges with civil society organisations on issues shuch as the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal 5 “Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls”, fight against trafficking, rights of migrant women, gender & climate change, gender-sensitive trade policy, role of women in conflict prevention, sexual health and reproductive rights, empowerment of women, combatting violence against women, access to healthcare, access to education, participation of women in political institutions, gender dimension in the enlargement process, etc.

Our political family must be at the forefront to push for a feminist global agenda and to prioritise gender equality in the EU external action.
