Kata Tüttő is a Hungarian politician and economist. Since November 2019, she is the Deputy-Mayor of Budapest, responsible for utility management, including, waste, water, streetlights, and public transport. She is also chairing the Operational Group responsible for the city's responses in the COVID-19 pandemic. Kata Tüttő is also Vice-President of the Party of European Socialists Group in the European Committee of the Regions. In the Committee, she has been rapporteur on a number of major opinions concerning climate, circular economy and is currently rapporteur on the opinion on Gender Equality and Climate Change: towards mainstreaming the gender perspective in the European Green Deal.
