It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the webinar "New hazard classes on endocrine disruptors in CLP", on the 22th of June from 10:00 to 11:00.

Endocrine disruptors chemicals (EDCs) have long been a weak spot of chemical legislation in Europe. Scientific knowledge about endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) has been increasing rapidly in recent years, with evidence on the impact of these chemicals on human health and the environment. By interfering with our hormones, these substances can cause cancerous tumors, birth defects, and other developmental disorders. With the publication of the Chemical Strategy for Sustainability, the European Commission has laid the foundation for a number of measures to better protect citizens and the environment from exposure to EDCs.

Together with the following experts, we invite you to discuss how to better identify and classify EDCs at the European level:

Cristina de Avila, Head of Unit Sustainable Chemicals, DG ENVI
Angel Nadal, Professor of Physiology, University of Elche, Alicante, Spain; and former chair of the Endocrine Society Task Force on EDCs
Pia Juul Nielsen, EDC Science and Policy Expert, CHEM Trust
